good day today...
great, actually...
it began with a funny (private) moment between carmel, flash (our new puppy), and me...
it continued with a great early-morning routine with jake and anna, both of whom stayed home a little later because of a 2-hour delay for school....
it got richly rewarding during my personal coaching time with greg, who helped me to better understand and filter criticism, as well as being able to think positively about my role in this life...
and i had a great brunch with my friend, mexican j...
and a really faith-affirming meeting with my friends kris and kathy as we covered some basic details concerning kris' god-honoring-amidst-the-sadness funeral service...
and i've just finished meeting with scott and judy from grand river media about some exciting web development opps for the winds...
so i can go home and be with C and the thug-rats for some supper and wrestling...
...followed by a trip to DTW to pick up my mum who'll stay with us for a few weeks while Carmel and i hit the beaches in the DR.
wow.
i think this is what scripture means when we're instructed to thank god for our many blessings.

on tuesday carmel and i are heading to the dominican republic for 8 days of sunburn and watery virgin margueritas.
it's gonna be awesome.
i'm doing a wedding over there for some friends who're paying my way, and we're using our christmas gift money from the winds to pay for carmel.
